Asteroid Day 2019

My three entries to the Redbubble Asteroid Day Artist Challenge 2019, all available on various products in my Redbubble shop

Asteroid Day aims to raise awareness about asteroids and what can be done to protect the Earth from a catastrophic event – co-founded by Queen guitarist and astrophysicist Dr Brian May among others, it is an annual global event marking the anniversary of the explosion at Tunguska (Siberia) that took place on June 30, 1908, the most harmful known asteroid-related event on Earth in recent history

My first entry is based on my close-up photos of a house brick, garden netting after rain and an old cracked, faded and peeling wooden doorstep; the second on a mosaic derived from a photo of a roll of bubble wrap (taken end on) for the texture; and the third using Morse Code for the trails (I wonder how many people will notice!)
